After receiving my Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction from University of Michigan, I have spent 5 exciting years working on a wide range of Web and Mobile UX projects for VMware in Atlanta.
I am a strong believer in the power of spreading the UX magic. Apart from leading UX trainings at work, I’ve also written blog posts about: Seeing Truly Is Believing: Lesson 1 3 Missteps UX Designers Should Avoid
Outside of work, I am an avid tap dancer and a boardgame enthusiast.
Here is a little more about me:
In 2019, I gave a speech on the importance of listening to and understanding our users/customers in front of 150+ attendees for the inaugural VMware SHAPE design conference. A lot of attendees reported that the speech resonated with them.
I have previously been a member of Toast Masters, in order to practice and improve my public speaking skills.
Doing ethnographic research, such as when I was able to visit two schools in South Carolina, is always a particularly moving experience.
I especially love conducting user research. I have conducted usability tests with coworkers and customers for Web and Mobile UX products. I have done A/B testings as well.
Drawing & the Arts
I began taking drawing classes at the start of 2019. My first class covered fundamental drawing techniques, including light and shadow, line, perspective, and composition. I used mediums such as graphite, charcoal, conte’ crayon, and ink.
I am currently enrolled in a figure drawing class, and will pursue stained glass in the next semester.
